What we collect

1) If you subscribe: your email and chosen language (plus an internal token to manage confirmation and unsubscribe). 2) Usage data: page visited, approximate country, referer, browser (user-agent), channel and date. To count UNIQUE VISITORS without cookies we use a DAILY non-identifying fingerprint (an irreversible hash of IP + browser + date that resets every day and cannot track you across days); we do NOT store your IP in clear nor use tracking cookies.

Purpose and legal basis

Email is processed with your CONSENT (double opt-in) to send you the newsletter. Usage data is processed under LEGITIMATE INTEREST to measure and improve the site in aggregate. We do not sell or share your data for commercial purposes.

Retention

We keep your email while you remain subscribed; on unsubscribe or deletion request we remove it. Usage logs are kept for a limited period.

Your rights

You may exercise access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. California residents (CCPA): right to know, delete and to opt out of sale (we do not sell). You can also unsubscribe with one click in any newsletter.

Third parties and transfers

We use Cloudflare (web hosting and database) and Google/Gmail (email delivery). These providers may process data outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses or other adequate safeguards.

Cookies and storage

We use no tracking or third-party cookies. We only use browser local storage to remember your language (technical function).
